Fola Akinsinde

Fola is currently Executive Vice President; Training & Development for Eftex Energy Services, LLC, leading the global training and talent development team as well as peer-assisting the Engineering & Technology Solutions team.

Fola is a Petroleum Engineering subject matter expert with more than 15 years of experience in the global petroleum industry covering different roles as Production Engineer, Research & Development Engineer, Senior Modeling Consultant and Intelligent Oilfield Production Engineering Leader.

Fola’s teaching and industry experience in many aspects of reservoir and production engineering encompasses: conventional and unconventional resources; offshore and onshore operations; integrated production system modeling and optimization (downhole configuration, artificial lift selection and surface equipment optimization); production forecasting and reservoir analysis; completion design and intelligent well performance surveillance and optimization; well completion equipment testing, evaluation, modeling and field trials; software development and testing for production maximization. Fola is a globally acclaimed professional in the expanding areas of digital oilfield technology, data driven inversion modeling and predictive analytics.

Fola has published dozens of technical papers and presented at various global technical forums. Fola also serves as a technical reviewer for a number of Engineering and Technology Journals associated with Petroleum Science and International Conferences on Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics. Fola’s undergraduate and post graduate degrees were obtained from the Obafemi Awolowo University and the Clausthal University of Technology respectively.
